●The Yo-6000 was introduced as the successor to the Yo-5000, and was used in a variety of situations, from dedicated freight on main lines to small freight on local lines. Its three side windows and shallowly curved roof give it a lighter impression than existing cabooses. A total of 905 cars were manufactured by 1969, and they could be seen all over the country until 1986, when conductors on freight trains were abolished.
