5 Cars (3 cars +2 cars)
Information
The Kintetsu 6200 series is a series of newly manufactured air-conditioned trains for the Minami-Osaka Line, introduced in 1974. It shares the same body as the 2800 series on the Osaka Line and is designed to accommodate both 3-car and 4-car formations depending on demand.
Except for the 6221 formation, which was converted into the sightseeing limited express "Blue Symphony" in 2016, all other trains remain in service. As of 2025, five 3-car formations and five 4-car formations are in operation.
The Kintetsu 6820 series is a 2-car train introduced in 2002 for the Minami-Osaka and Yoshino Lines. It features the same Series 21 body design as the 9820 series, etc.
A distinctive feature of the interior seating is the "comfortable corner," which has armrests on both sides of the end seat. Although it is not operated on the Domyoji Line because it is not compatible with one-man operation, it is active in various parts of the Minami-Osaka Line and Yoshino Line, from operating alone to being coupled with other types of trains.
