●The 50 series passenger cars were introduced in 1977 to replace older passenger cars, and were used for local trains on regional trunk lines. They were divided into the 50 series 0 series, which lacked electric heating and was primarily used on Honshu, the 50 series 2000 series, which was equipped with electric heating, and the 50 series 51 series, which was used in Hokkaido. The Oha Fu 50 was equipped with a conductor's compartment, and taking advantage of the flexibility unique to passenger cars, it was used in a wide range of operations, from long formations of 10 or more cars to two-car formations. This product will be a reproduction of the 2000 series, equipped with electric heating, in the form it took after the transition to JR, with the JR mark added to the side of the Oha Fu 50 series.
