Information
The DF200 type is an electric diesel locomotive developed by JR Freight, and a prototype appeared in 1992.
Since its introduction, it has been mainly used for transporting cargo within Hokkaido, but some of the 100s were transferred to Honshu, and at the same time they were converted to the 200s.
All of the 200s belong to the Aichi Engine District and are mainly active on the Kansai Main Line.
