Since January 2024, the "Biwako-Otsu Murasaki Shikibu Train" has featured a special wrap design created in collaboration with Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, evoking themes such as the "Ishiyama-mode" (pilgrimage to Ishiyama-dera Temple).
These trains primarily operate on the Kyoto, Biwako, Kobe, and Ako lines.
