Kato/Sekisui Kinzoku Co., Ltd. released steam locomotive C50 as the first full-fledged N-scale model in 1965. In 2017, over 50 years later, Kato made the scale model based on the prototype with such classic appearance as the stylish chimney and curved apron once again, applying the current highly advanced technique, and released as the 50th anniversary product C50.
