●Locomotive C11 190 was built in 1940 and served in various parts of the Tohoku region before being transferred to the Haiki Engine Depot in Kyushu; from 1950 until its retirement, it was stationed at the Kumamoto Engine Depot. In 1966, it was selected to haul the Imperial train during Emperor Showa's tour of Kumamoto Prefecture following his attendance at the Oita National Sports Festival, and the locomotive was specially decorated for the occasion. Although it was retired in 1974 and initially preserved by a private individual, it was transferred to the Oigawa Railway in 2001, restored, and returned to operational status in 2003.
