●Hiroshima Electric Railway’s Type 200 car No. 238 was donated by the city of Hannover, West Germany (at the time), in August 1989 to commemorate the fifth anniversary of its sister-city relationship with Hiroshima. After entering service with the railway, it operated on the Hakushima Line and later on the Yokokawa Line. Since the autumn of 2018, it has been used for special events and operates annually in December as a decorated "Christmas Tram."
