●We will be producing a model of the 211 series that was active in the Boso area from 2006 to 2013. This train set was freed up when the 211 series 3000 series at Takasaki Vehicle Center was converted into a 10-car fixed formation with the addition of Green Cars. It wore the yellow and blue Boso colors and replaced some of the 113 series belonging to Makuhari Vehicle Center. After being selected, it was active in the Boso area for seven years, and then transferred to Nagano Vehicle Center when the 209 series was introduced to the Boso area, ending its service in the Boso region. The year after it began operation, single-arm pantographs were added to the Kumoha 211 cars of 9 out of 14 train sets to improve current collection efficiency, and it operated in a unique form with two different types of pantographs.

By adopting a newly developed slotless motor, it demonstrates smoother and quieter running performance than existing motors.
