●We will be producing a model of the E721 series, which is active on the AC electrified sections of the South Tohoku area of JR East. This series was introduced in 2007 for the purpose of updating the rolling stock of JR East's Sendai branch and for operation on the Sendai Airport Access Line. It is a vehicle that adopts a low-floor body structure using small-diameter wheels to match the low-floor platforms of local lines and achieves barrier-free access with no steps at the entrances. In addition to the 0 series/500 series (2-car formations) that appeared earlier, the 1000 series, a fixed 4-car formation, appeared in 2016, and when you include the vehicles owned by third-sector companies that share the same manufacturer and basic design, this is a series with a wide variety of variations.
