The Meitetsu Wamu6000 series was a covered freight car based on the JNR Wamu60000 series. Its distinctive feature was its blue paint scheme at the time of manufacture.
Later, it was repainted black, like other freight cars, and used for freight transport on JNR lines as a JNR through-service approved freight car. However, most were scrapped in 1984 when JNR yard transport was discontinued.
