The E26 series Cassiopeia was a luxury sleeper train that ran between Ueno and Sapporo, introduced in 1999, but ceased operation in March 2016 with the opening of the Hokkaido Shinkansen.
Since June 2016, it has been operated as a group train, "Cassiopeia Cruise" and "Cassiopeia Journey," with additional antennas for passing through the Seikan Tunnel.
