The Meitetsu Mo 510 series were small bogie cars that operated on the Meitetsu Gifu City Line. They were manufactured in 1926 by Mino Electric Railway, one of the predecessors of Meitetsu.
Until around 1960, they operated on the Mino-machi Line, but when through service between the Ibi Line and the Gifu City Line began, various equipment was changed, cross seats were installed, and the two-tone scarlet and red color scheme was adopted.
Later, after some paintwork was omitted and the cars were repainted in a single scarlet color, they were returned to their original paint scheme from when through service began. Two cars, Mo 513 and 514, remained in service until the Meitetsu 600V section was discontinued in 2005.
