●The Tokyu 5080 series is a Meguro Line train that debuted in 2003. This group is compatible with single-man operation for through-services with the Tokyo Metro Namboku Line, Toei Subway Mita Line, and Saitama Rapid Railway. Initially, 10 trains were manufactured and operated as six-car formations. Two more cars were added in 2022, bringing the total to eight. In March of the following year, through-services with the Sotetsu Line began via the newly opened Tokyu Shin-Yokohama Line. Characteristic features include a blue stripe in line color wrapped around the headboard, and two L-shaped antennas on the roof of the leading car toward Shin-Yokohama for centralized radio antenna placement (not present on the leading car toward Meguro).
