200 series is a Shinkansen train manufactured for Tohoku, Joetsu Shinkansen which opened in 1982.Between 1999 and 2002, twelve organizations became subject to renewal construction inside and outside of the car for the purpose of prolonging the life, the shape of the front window and the painting were changed.Until September 2001, renewal formation was also operated in conjunction with 400 Series Yamagata Shinkansen.Currently it is operated on the Joetsu Shinkansen.
