●Hapi Line Fukui is a new third-sector railway line established when a portion of the Kanazawa-Tsuruga section (between Daishoji and Tsuruga) was separated from JR following the opening of the Hokuriku Shinkansen extension between Kanazawa and Tsuruga in March 2024. The trains are 16 two-car 521 series trains that had been used on the same section until then, and feature an original pink-based livery. In June of the same year, a train with a fully wrapped carriage was introduced, attracting attention for its vibrant appearance.
