●The Senseki Line is the only JR DC electrified line in the Tohoku region, connecting Aoba-dori to Sendai, Matsushima Kaigan, and Ishinomaki. Since 2002, 205 series trains have been converted into lead cars and organized into four-car formations, and the 3100 series trains transferred from the Tokyo metropolitan area have been in service. You can see both single-pantograph formations with unmodified pantograph mounting sections and modified double-pantograph formations.
