●The ICE4 is the fourth-generation ICE (Inter City Express) train, Germany's flagship high-speed train on Europe's main lines. It consists of 12 cars with distributed traction and a top speed of 250 km/h. Developed with the concept of a new mainstay of long-distance transport, it was developed with a focus on operational flexibility and improved comfort, with the aim of connecting rural and urban areas more frequently and increasing transport capacity.
It is currently in service as the new mainstay ICE train on international trains in Germany and other parts of Europe.
