Chichibu Railway is known as a private railway that still operates frequent freight trains, and is particularly famous for its 1000t limestone train consisting of 20 Oki 100 and Okifu 100 cars. The Oki 100 and Okifu 100 are hopper cars manufactured from 1956 onwards, and are only operated on the Chichibu Railway Line. Early manufactured cars were assembled with rivets, but later manufactured cars were assembled by welding, which results in differences in appearance.
