●The Amtrak® Pacific Surfliner®, which is active on the West Coast route, is now available from Amtrak, the passenger railroad of the United States. The Surfliner connects San Luis Obispo to San Diego via Los Angeles, which boasts the largest population and number of passengers in the California route area, and is the most famous train on the West Coast route. All passenger cars are characterized by their large two-story bodies, and the Cab-Baggage-Coach (a combined car with a driver's cab) at the end is equipped with a driver's cab for driving with the passenger cars in front.
