●The 24 Series Sleeper Express "Hokutosei" was introduced in 1988 to coincide with the opening of the Seikan Tunnel connecting Honshu and Hokkaido as a sleeper express train running between Ueno and Sapporo. It gained popularity for its hotel-like service, and at its peak, it operated three round trips.
◆From the (HO) 24 Series Sleeper Express passenger cars, a two-car set of the Orone 25 and Orohane 25 has been released, combining individual items for an affordable price. In addition to the "Hokutosei," you can also enjoy a recreation of the "Yumekukan Hokutosei" from the early Heisei period, when Yumekukan passenger cars were operated in conjunction with Hokutosei passenger cars.
