We will be releasing the 225 series equipped with "A-seat" cars that are used on the JR Kyoto Line and Kobe Line, one of the main lines of JR West Japan. The 225 series is the latest model used for the Shin-kaisoku, and has undergone minor changes depending on the manufacturing period. The 225 series (3rd batch) is a group of the 100 series that was added in 2020, and the front shape was unified between manufacturers and free space was installed in all cars. The 700 series is a vehicle that was introduced to expand the number of trains that operate paid seat services called "A-seats" that are attached to some Shin-kaisoku trains. It has the same front shape as the 225 series 100 series, but is characterized by a cross seat interior and a body with two single-leaf doors.
The latest 225 series 100 series and 700 series are now available in the lineup that connects Keihanshin. A 4-car set including the 225 series 700 series, newly manufactured exclusively for the "A-seat", and an 8-car set of the 3rd batch will be released at the same time.
The starter set includes vehicles, Unitrack tracks, and a power pack (standard SX), and is recommended for those who are just starting out with model railroading.
