The V18B container is a 12ft ventilated container that appeared in 1988, with enlarged interior dimensions based on the V18A manufactured the previous year.
Along with the V18A and the double-sided V18C, it was the main ventilated container in the 1990s, but was replaced by successor containers such as the V19B, and ceased operation by around 2013.
