Kato will manufacture the N-scale model of Series 521 of Toyama Railways “Ainokaze” which is very impressive with cool water or green color waving patterns.
Due to the inauguration of Hokuriku Shinkansen high-speed line, the conventional railway section between Kurigara and Ichiburi in Toyama prefecture turned into railways run by a joint public-private sector funding named Ainokaze-Toyama. The company has 16 trains Series 521 2nd version assigned by JR West Japan which are currently in service there.
Patterns in water and green colors, using the breeze blowing in the province as the motif, are drawn on the body which look differently depending on where they are looked upon from.
