Red Koki 200 specialized for transporting 20ft and 40ft containers
Koki 200 is a container freight car of JR Freight that appeared in 2000. Manufactured to modernize the transportation of chemical products and transport tank containers based on marine container standards, it can carry two 20ft containers or one 40ft container, and boasts a maximum load of 48t and a maximum speed of 110km. Additionally, since it is compatible with maritime containers, the overall length of the vehicle is 15m, which is shorter than before.
Unlike the Koki 100 series, it features a short length and bright red paint, giving it an appearance that stands out from other container freight cars. In recent years, the JRF mark has been removed.
