Information
We will be launching a renewed limited express train, ``Hamakaze,'' which connects Osaka with the northern Kinki and San'in areas via the Bantan Line.
It began operation on November 7, 2010 as a comfortable and easy-to-use vehicle that is designed to improve safety and be environmentally friendly. Currently, seven three-car train formations are in use.
Limited Express Hamakaze operates in 3-car formations, and also in 6-car formations with two trains connected depending on the timetable. It also operates as Biwako Express on weekday nights.
