Taki 1000 was introduced in 1993 as a high-speed tank car capable of operating at a maximum speed of 95km/h. The tank body is based on the Taki 43000 series 243000 series and has a load capacity of 45 tons, and the trolley is equipped with the Koki 100 series FT21 type.

The Taki 1000, painted in the green and gray Japan Oil transportation colors and bearing the ENEOS mark and Ecorail mark, is used to transport oil by rail from the oil refinery in Negishi, on the coast of Kanagawa Prefecture, to inland areas such as Nagano Prefecture. Masu.
