Information
This is the Shonan Color Coach which has first debuted among 115-300 coaches. I has started service to enhance the transport on Tohoku and Takasaki Lines and to replace series 165 and 169 which were in supplemental use. This was in operation as a major coach on Tohoku and Takasaki Mainlines for suburban service from Ueno.
The characters of the coach are windows made in units and installation of air conditioner AU75.
The scale models will be released just like the prototype in 4-car add-on set as well as in 7-car set or 4-car set. These sets will make a variety of trains ranging from a 4-car train for branch lines to a long 15-car train.

Car KUMONI 83804 is deployed to Nagaoka Electric Train Depot and charged with luggage transport. It was used as connected to series 115 or to freight train consisting of freight cars only.
This car has a smart outlook with low roof and a character of a pantograph which was removed after transfer to Nagaoka depot.
Since the original Yokosuka color was repainted into Shonan color, the color separation level had become different from the other Shonan color cars.
