Information
The 485 series is a limited express train for both AC and DC that represents JNR.
-The 1500th generation is a special cold and snow resistant type division for Hokkaido manufactured in 1974, and 22 cars were manufactured.
-Although it was operated on the L express [Ishikari] between Sapporo and Asahikawa, it was transferred to the Aomori depot in the form of being replaced by the 781 series around 1980 due to the effects of snow beyond expectations.
