Information
The Kiha 185 is a limited express diesel car manufactured from 1986, and was mainly introduced as a replacement for the express diesel car in the Shikoku area.
Some vehicles were transferred to JR Kyushu in 1992 and started operating as limited express "Yufu" and "Aso".
At the time of transfer to JR Kyushu, the green seat of Kiroha 186 was abolished and became Kiha 186, and the appearance was changed to painting based on red. In addition, the "Yufu" and "Aso" logos have been added.
In 2004, a light was added to the front of the leading car and the painting was changed.
In 2018, the designs of "Yufu", "Aso", and "Kyushu Crossing Limited Express" were unified, and the appearance became the specifications of Around the Kyushu with the Tsubame mark based on red.
