In order to support the , we will release the Kiha 58 series, which is the general color of JR Kyushu, which was active throughout Kyushu in commemoration of the event.
Sample exhibitions and demonstration runs will be held at the Kyushu and Tokyo convention venues.

The Kiha 58 series, which is the general color of JR Kyushu, retired in 2009, and the remaining two cars for wave motion are mainly operated in the Hakata area, such as the Arita Pottery City (Nagasaki-Kami-Arita, etc.) and event trains. In addition, it was operated throughout Kyushu as needed, such as local operation between Miyazaki and Kagoshima Chuo.
