The ED19 is a locomotive that was imported from the United States in 1926 and was used in the early stages of electrification of the Tokaido Main Line, but was renamed the ED53 and used for freight. Equipped with a deck on the 1-axis front wheel, it has a short but neat style. In the first half of the 1955's, all 6 cars gathered on the Iida line and played an active part alongside the old JNR, ED62 in 1976. I was in charge of freight transportation in the northern section of the Iida Line (between Iida and Tatsuno) until it was replaced with.
The ED19 (Saving Yoroi Door) has a different appearance from existing products such as a small front window, PS15 pantograph on the roof, and a saving Yoroi door, and can be enjoyed together with the products of the Iida Line series.
