The "Hakone Lalique Museum" is a museum that houses and exhibits the works of French glass artist Rene Lalique (1860-1945). It was opened in 2005 in Hakone Town, Kanagawa Prefecture, and is about Lalique's works. It has a collection of 1,500 items and about 230 items are on permanent display. The Pullman Car 4158, which is exhibited and preserved there, is one of the 14 cars that Rene Lalique worked on, and the interior of the car is decorated with about 150 glass panels, which is suitable for being called a running work of art.
