In 1965, just before the Joban Line all-way electrification, when the sleeping limited express "Yuzuru" connecting Ueno and Aomori was newly established, it was the Toshi district belonging to Tanei District which took on the tension between Iwaki and Sendai It is C62. The C62 which was active in the Tohoku / Tokiwa-jima train was a figure that kept its original shape relatively. Since Showa 38 (1963) in which the Joban Line's AC electrification advanced, the light bulb exchange under the AC overhead cable was dangerous when the headlight was blown, so the secondary light of the shield beam was equipped as a spare.
