Information
The Series 253 appeared as a vehicle dedicated to Narita Airport Access Limited Express "Narita Express" in 1990, and started operation on March 19, 1991.Originally it was a three-car train, but in order to meet the growing demand, in 1992 three cars of intermediate cars were added to a part of the organization and it was operated as a 6 car train.In 2002, the fifth car whose inside of the car was changed appeared, and the conventional vehicle was similarly remodeled.In 2010, the advent of the E259 series, which is a successor car, resulted in the operation of the same line from "Narita Express", and it became a scrapped car with the exception of some vehicles.
