Information
The 0 series Shinkansen is the first Shinkansen on the Tokaido/Sanyo Shinkansen, and the 0 series 7000 series is an upgraded version of the 2000 series, which features small windows, with an upgraded interior for waist light.
Some of the 0 series 7000 series will be used in "Kodama" with the appearance of the 700 series 7000 series Hikari Rail Star, and since 2002, the coloring has been based on light gray with dark gray and fresh green bands. It was repainted.
In 2008, three formations were repainted in JNR colors and remained active on the Sanyo Shinkansen until their retirement.
