The Resa 5000 type is a refrigerated car for transporting fresh fish, and 28 cars were manufactured in 1968. The layout was in Shiriuchi, Morioka, and was operated from Hachinohe and sharks to the Tokyo and Yokohama markets. The format disappeared in 1984. The traction machines were ED75 double heading, EF65-1000 series, EF15, etc., and were operated based on 7-car trains or later with 11-car trains.
